PETER THOMAS (BORN 1924)

Famed voice-over actor and World War II veteran, Peter Thomas received five battle stars including the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and the French Croix de Guerre for his military service with the First Infantry Division in Europe. After graduating from high school in 1943 he joined the army and was one of 28 replacements sent to Omaha Beach the day after D-Day. The life-altering experience gave him a deeper appreciation for fellow soldiers, his country, and freedom. Peter who has lived in Naples for many years, served in five major campaigns including the Battle of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge.
