Bernie Lenhart (Born 1928)
 Staff Sergeant, United States Marine Corps, Retired

North Fort Myers resident Bernie Lenhart served in the 1st Engineer Battalion of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. One of the survivors of the infamous Battle of the Chosin Reservoir, Bernie’s skills as a mechanic were put to the test as he worked to keep military equipment running in frigid conditions. After the war Bernie worked for the Ford Motor company. He retired to Southwest Florida in 1995.
