John Weliver (Born 1930)

Fort Myers resident John Weliver served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Deployed after the beginning of the war, he was assigned to squadron VMO6 as aircraft Crew Chief on the observation helicopter squadron. After the war, John continued to serve in the Marine Corps for another 23 years.
